  • MOXI is an acronym for “Multiply Oxygenated excited state Ionisation”. This new form of laser treatment uses a wavelength of 1319nm to precisely target water molecules in the skin. The energy from the laser breaks apart the water molecules, which creates oxygen and hydrogen atoms. These atoms then interact with each other to create an excited state, which helps to vaporize unwanted tissue. Initially, your skin may appear red, and you might notice small micro-dots called MENDS where the laser was applied. As these microzones heal, they will darken and feel rough before revealing refreshed skin underneath. Remember, don’t exfoliate or pick at your skin during this healing time.
